It's funny that you mentioned the name as a reason for not wanting to use
yoroufukuru, or however you spell it. I just call
it by the english name, Night owl, which makes almost as little sense. Anyway,
I wanted to use syrinx for the same reason,
but found its layout much more confusing. Granted, when I tried it, I was even
more of a mac newbie than I am now, but I just
think the Night Owl is slightly more VO friendly, and from what I've heard, the
developers seem to be interested in making
accessibility a priority. Of course, I could be totally wrong about that, and I
know a lot of folks say syrinx is easy, but
it made absolutely no sense to me. So, it depends on your level of comfort on
the mac. Since they're both free, your best bet
might be to try them both and see which 1 you're more comfortable with. Good
luck!

Subject: Oops, forgot the third and most mac-related question

Sorry, all, I'm still working on my first cup of coffee. :)

My third question is about Twitter apps. I know that Yorifiqurou (sp) and
Syrinx are the two favorite apps. For
professional reasons I'm going to have to make more use of Twitter than I have
in the past. I'm tempted to use Syrinx just
because Yorifiqurou has such an annoying name, but it occurs to me that may not
be the best basis for my decision.. Can
anyone tell me the advantages or disadvantages of these apps, so I can make an
informed decision about which to use?
TIA again,
Donna
