I have been giving some thought as to whether you want me to contact the Apple Corps of Dallas about your project for acquiring Macs for blind useers who cannot afford now to get their own computers. The Apple Corps of Dallas is a group of sighted Apple users who have been in existence for a long time. My husband was once president of it. There are some long-time Mac users in this group, along with iPad, iPhone, etc. users. They might be able to help you with this, and at the very least, I could let people know so they can put out the word. The Apple Corps publishes a newsletter called the Apple Gram.
