Not a clue. I have tried direct emails too but did not get a response
either. All I needed was my email address changed.

It actually requires approval by the list owners. Once you send a message
to subscribe, it automatically goes to the list owners for approval. It
takes a week or two, as human intervention is involved. :)

he always receives an answer that he needs an invitation.
Is it no longer possible to subscribe without having a Google account?
And is an invitation really necessary?
