Hi,

There are known accessibility issues with the main JetBlue web site.
You may be able to get parts of it to work with various browser and
screen reader combinations, but other features may not work at all.
One feature where there is no work around is the flash based check in.

JetBlue is working on an internal accessibility initiative, but it
still would be good for them to hear from blind consumers about the
accessibility of the web site. You may want to tweet them
@JetBlue
if you are on Twitter, or contact them in a written form in some way.

You should be able to book flights using
http://mobile.jetblue.com
(although if you use this site from an iPhone the language preference
is set to Pollish)

I believe for a promotion you can also use:
http://mobile.jetblue.com/promo
(for instance today there is a 20% off promo code) I think its all upper case
20FORYOU

They also have a reservations special services Help Line available at
855-232-5463 (855-ADALine)
where the agents will be familiar with waiving the booking fee for
blind passengers with accessibility issues. These agents will also
readily be able to book web fares if you have an accessibility issue.
If you call the main 800-JetBlue phone number they likely won't be as
familiar with accessibility issues or especially with booking web
fares over the phone.

Even if you book through the special services desk, you can tell them
you do not want a special service request SSR in your record. If you
have an SSR in your record it flags you in their system as being
blind, and it also prevents you from using the online check in.

Much of my work in the NFB has to do with airline issues, and I
regularly work with the DOT and the various airlines. There is an
NPRM right now having to do with airline web site and kiosk
accessibility which DOT is seeking public comment on.

Best,
