This is a limitation of the Windows DRM itself. Microsoft has not
released code or libraries to their DRM for the Mac so nobody can make a
player that will open a DRMed Windows Media file. Not a problem the
Flip4Mac folks can fix since the critical bits of info are locked up by
Redmond. Probably won't change with HTML5 and such as the DRM decoder
would need to be available to the browser backplane to enable DRM playback.

Hi,
flip works well on the Mac but, I don't think protected stuff will work. This
is a bit of a wrench thrown into flip if you ask me. I would try using
realplayer on the Mac and see if there is a option on the sight to stream using
that. Or, microsoft silverlight. Silverlight works but isn't accessible. The
media will start playing but you won't have access to the transport controls.

Dear Listers,
Does anyone know whether Flip4Mac works well with Lion? I want to
stream audio in Safari but currently am not able to accomplish this
because of the lack of windows media player on the mac. What's your
experience and suggestions?
With best wishes
Andrew
