What a relief! I'm having the same problem and didn't know if it was something
weird on my end. In fact, on my macbook pro, I
have to do a force quit after I've run winamp. Needless to say that I'm very
disappointed so far. I guess I'll just keep
using VLC for now.
However, if someone does have winamp for the mac working, I'd love to hear how
it was done.

Subject: can't get winamp to do anything

Okay.

I dropped winamp.app in to the apps folder. Launched it; and, what happened,
"Winamp has no windows" said the screen. No
buttons or controls worked. Not even clicking with the mouse.

any thoughts Dave?
