Hi guys: I'm now going to upgrade to Lion. I've read the Mac World articles, checked to make sure my hard drive is in good shape via disk utility, and listened to Arrigo's podcast. I created a boootable backup using CCC; however I cannot figure out how to test it. I held down option while booting my Mac. I couldn't get VO to start at all, but a sighted person said I had two options, one of which was my external drive. I pressed right arrow, and enter twice. Eventually the Mac booted, but no VO. How can I verify if my Mac is booting from the external drive? How can I get that boot up screen to read with VO?
