Rahul,

I certainly can emphasize with your new found frustrations as I too am a new
MBP club member. However, I have found that most of my questions are answered
at least eventually. So I would encourage you to hang in there and keep
plugging away at this new fronteer.

First of all can you tell us where in Safari you are trying to insert text?

I am only able to answer just one of your other questions. In order to be able
to highlight text, you must first interact with the text. After doing so, you
are then free to use all of the standard editing keyboard commands to
manipulate the text in question.

Talk soon,

Johnny Chilelli
