Hi, Ioana, I'd think TextEdit would work well for this. I used to use Notepad for this very same thing. I haven't tried this with TextEdit, but I'm sure it would work. Just be sure you save it as a text file and don't have any formatting in it. Then you could save another version as html and view it in Safari to check the results.
