Wow, that's wacky. No combination of VO-F2-F2 or Command-~ could get my
focus moved to that window. Even when in DVD Audio Extractor VO kept
reading windows belonging to other applications or the finder. Seems
like a bug in the app. That said, after launching focus initially goes
nowhere and nothing is announced but one tab and space takes you to the
registration window, which is also inaccessible. But doing a second tab
and space is register later which then lets me into the main program.
The UI at least is reachable but there are a lot of unlabeled buttons
and such, and the only way to quit is to navigate to the Exit button at
the bottom of the window.

Hi,
I get that as well, I usually have to fiddle around with the app to get that
screen to go away. I believe that's the license screen, but I haven't gotten
anyone sighted to look at it. Once you get passed that screen, the app is
fully accessible.
As far as the license code working cross-platform, they changed the scheme
for licensing in version 6.0.

That's what I'm seeing here as well. VoiceOver says the app has no windows,
even with a dvd in the drive.

Hi,
Whenever I open it, it always says it has no windows, is that because
there's no dvd in the drive? Also, I bought the windows version way back in
2009, do you know if my code will still work for the mac version? I hope
that last question isn't off-topic, but I'm appologizing now just in case.

It was probably a completely different app, cuz the mac version of
this one was only released this year. It's been on windows since 2003.

Oh, this is good to hear. I tried this app, or one with a similar
name a couple years back, and at that time, it wasn't accessible at
all. Glad to hear that's changed.

Hello,
I have another solution, and it's a solution that works quite well
from an accessibility standpoint. There's a program called DVD Audio
extractor. It's shareware, but it's extremely accessible, and
eliminates the need for 2 or 3 other programs.
More information can be found at:

I hope this helps!

Hi. Here is my current solution for extracting audio from DVDs. It
may not be the best way to go, and I would of course love to hear
how others are doing it.
I first use Ripit to copy the contents of a dvd to my hard drive. I
then use dvd remaster pro to extract all the audio tracks. These
files are in
ac3 format. Finally I use toonsify to convert those ac3 files in to
either
mp3 or m4a, depending on what I need.
HTH.

Hi everyone,
Subject describes my question more-or-less. I've an upcoming
project, and
am curious as to what the experts use to do this from an access
point of view. :) Btw, suggestions don't have to be free.
Thanks for any/all input
