Yeah, I bought it through the app store the other day and it took some
time just to download the file, but gives you a slightly misleading
message about installing which is dimmed anyway. Eventually, once it's
downloaded, it will bring up the installer. I would suggest that you
close it at that point, and then go into your applications folder and
make a copy of the downloaded 'install mac os app' file for
safekeeping as it will remove itself once you go through the
installation process.
