Hi Teresa. I haven't tried yet to global replace control characters. In my case I have to keep a brf file the way it is. Actually, I haven't yet figured out exactly how to do global replaces in TextEdit. I have Pages also, but I have to switched to TextEdit for most of my files because it has given me less grief.
