I have seen this question asked on other lists, and the consensus seems to be "no" because the image is deliberately distorted, just like the audio CAPTCHA's are. I know people who have no vision problem who say that they have trouble reproducing them. Andy

Hi, folk, I haven't tried this yet, but I was wondering if anyone else has tried to use an OCR program to solve a capcha? Theoretically one could download the image into a folder, and, say, open it in FineReader Express. or one could take a screen-shot and open it in an OCR app. Thoughts? Experiments? I will probably try this on my own in the not-too-distant future. Thanks, Teresa -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group.
