As far as I know the users folder only exists in one place and they is
usually on the drive with the OS you booted from. So it sounds like you
have two copies but one of them is probably not being used.

Hi.
I have two drives inside my Mini, which I have named Mac HD for the
system volume and Mac Data for my datavolume. The way the computer
came, the home folder is located in the Mac Data drive volume, with
the usual tree: users, Bill, desktop, documents, downloads, music,
etc. But on the Mac HD system folder these folders also exist, users,
bill, desktop, etc., and I don't think they are aliases because the
data in my home folders is not also mirrored in these folders.
Are these system volume directories some sort of unused copies? Thanks.
