Hi Annie and Teresa.
For the Mac, at present I can only see one solution, that Apple adds a computer
braille option to VoiceOver. I made this suggestion to them by writing
accessibil...@apple.com because in the future I will need to replace my PacMate
which is five years old with heavy use. I could install Windows and Jaws on my
Mac. Then I can run WordPad If I get desperate, I might. However, I'd rather
not.
Depending on how things go, I am thinking of getting a Bluetooth braille
display along with an iPad. Luckily, I don't need to do that now, but it's
something to think about.

Regards,
Gigi
