Hi, guys. I was looking at my iTunes music library last night and realized that
every mp3 file I had played or opened was now in my library. Most of these were
audio files or podcast files I had opened.
I don't recall ever seeing this with the windows version. Since anything audio
opened on the mac is going to be played with iTunes, is there any way to tell
it not to add it to the library; just play it?
I also have vlc on my system, but I don't see any way to Tell the mac that any
mp3 file opened should be played with vlc rather than iTunes. You can use open
with, but that doesn't mean that every mp3 opened from then on will be played
with vlc.
I don't want to have to keep cleaning out my iTunes music library.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
