Hi Paul Henrichsen, Amadeus costs a lot more than a free program, because it can do so many beautiful things with sound. However, you don't need those amadeus features if it is only batch conversion that you want, so the comparison is not entirely fair. Neither max nor amadeus is just a batch converter.
