Another way to switch languages on the fly is to use the vo command arrows. If you have both an English and the Spanish voice installed, hold down control option command, and use the left and right arrows to choose an aspect of the voice you want to change. One of them, among pitch etc, is the voice itself. So, stop arrowing left or right as soon as you hear the word voice. Keep holding down v o command, and this time, use the arrows up and down to switch from one voice to the other. Voiceover remembers the last 2 voices you used, and once you have switched from English to Spanish and back, these 2 voices will be at the top of the list.
