Hi there! It sounds like you need to find and download the newest version of pianopub. I just used it today, and it works great. The newest version you can download should have autoupdate too, so in the future, you shouldn't run into any problems. I don't remember the site for downloading it, but if you do a search for pianopub mac or something along those lines, you should find it pretty easily.
