it hould be said you can copy the file to a thumb drive, but it will be an m4a, not an mp3 unless you've got the original....I'm pretty sure this is how it works... ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ricardo Walker" <rwalker...@gmail.com>

Hi,

When you have found the song you want in iTunes, press command shift R. This will open up the finder and land you directly on the music file. From here, all you need to do is press command C to copy then, navigate to your thumb drive.

I tried to search the group but no joy. I have some mp3s in my iTunes

I was able to copy one file by physically dragging and dropping it
with the limited vision I have. Clearly, that's no way to live. It
seems that while I can copy a file in iTunes, I can't paste it when
i've command tabbed to the appropriate finder window for the thumb
drive. Paste is grayed out in that finder window. I doubt drag and
drop in Snow Leopard will work. What can I do?
thanks,
