I'm wondering if anyone can give me some tips for setting up events in Adium. I've been using it on and off for a while but I really want to start to customize it. I think I've figured out how to set up most events. I just can't get my contact sign in event to work. I have it set to play a sound when someone signs in and that works fine. I just can't get it to speak the name of the person signing in. I tried setting it to speak event and that didn't work for me. After that I tried to have it speak specific text and that didn't work either. I used the %n substitution and I thought that would make it speak the name of the person signing in. This didn't work though. Can anyone think of what I might be doing wrong?
