Hello Allison, I noticed in your error message that you appear to have an older version of Keynote running on Lion. My first thought was that you might need to upgrade to the latest version of Keynote, which is version 5.1. Apple released free updates for Keynote, Pages and Numbers a few days before releasing Lion and I believe they addressed some Lion-related issues. You should be able to get the updates by running the standard Software Update process from the Apple menu.
