also numerous podcasts around and quite a number of other helpful sites by 
other members of this group.

2.. Sorry, but I was a stubborn teenager and didn't want to admit that I was 
blind so didn't learn much else other than Grade 1 Braille which I primarily 
just use to cheat, I mean, play cards.  So I hope someone else chimes in for 
the music question.

3.  Yes, all Macs have the same accessibility features built right in.  If 
you're hoping to use Trackpad gestures similar to the iOS devices like iPad and 
iPhone then the MacBook or MacBook Pro laptops could be your choice.  Although, 
you can purchase an iMac or MacMini along with the Magic Trackpad so that you 
have the same capabilities.  Each have their advantages.
