Hi guys: I've gotten inspired to try again at ripping my vinyl to computer. I have some really intricate classical pieces, and, though I have severe herring loss, others don't,:) so I'd like to get the very best sound quality out of these that I can. The other variable is I'm working with a Griffin iMike. The only real program I'm a little familiar with is Vinyl Studio. Given those perameters, can anyone tell me what kind of file to preserve the music to? Also, given my inexperience with all of this, would I be better off having someone do this professionally for me? I'd really like to get this music down in the best possible format. If I wind up with a cochlear implant, I'll want to have as much of the real sound preserved as possible wo work with in remapping how I hear music. Tia for
