System builder (Or more comonly known as oem) products are exactly the same as the retail version but as you said, they're a bit cheaper. You're only meant to buy one with a piece of hardware that can be used to upgrade a system such as memory, although between you, me, the list and the rest of the internet, the oem versions will function perfectly well regardless of if you are buying any hardware or not.
Obviously I can't suggest that you buy one without buying any hardware; I'm just trying to give you some helpfull information. Cheers, Ben.
