Hi and thanks for the suggestion.
I've now downloaded and had a quick first glance at the software. They are 99%
there, because the keyboard managing is very good, however there are lots of
unknowns, some of which can be interacted with, revealing a lot of controls
that you can manipulate and others that you can't do a thing with.
Unfortunately it seems that all the sliders are defined in a non-standard way,
causing VO to announce them as unknown and you can't manage them with the
keyboard in the default configuration, however there's a page in the
preferences named "keyboard setup" where i assume you can set up verious
keyboard related aspects of the program, and maybe you can do things there.
There is a visual button to edit effects, but the effects themselves and their
controls can't be edited as far as i can see, might take a bit of fiddling
around to see how that works.
A couple tweaks here and there, and i think this will be a good alternative to
DJay.
One thing i noticed, however was that the keyboard shortcuts in Zulu seems much
more logical than in DJay. For example, increase volume by hitting "v" and
decrease it by pressing "shift+v".
If other people have other things to report about this software, please do so.
