Hi Georges! In Skype open prefs [command+comma] then interact with the tool bar! Find the notifications button and select it, then stop interacting! Then you'll be in that window, go to the event button [it should be on when I sign in] open that menu and you'll have all the items listed! So you want when contact becomes available choose it and scroll through the options [like play sound check box and uncheck as needed! You want the speak text check it! The text box itself should have something like "contact" comes online!
