 I don't actualy use bootcamp, but do use fusion.

 I can only suggest that 2 gig of memory may not be enough for windows 7
 with lots of stuff open.  I personally run winXP under fusion on my
 MBP.  I allocate 2 gigs of memory to it and don't see any issues with
 jaws stuttering.  This could of course be because I have a quad core
 processor rather than the memory, then again it could be that winXP
 requires less memory than windows7 which I believe is the case.

 So my suggestions are:
 Bootcamp would provide the full 4 gig of memory to windows and probably
 prevent stuttering at the price of only being able to access either
 windows or mac at one time.
 Switching to XP may give you some benefit although it is hard to
 quantify.
