Hello all,
I am a litle bit playing with macports and ofcourse, I make some mistakes ;)
I have installed a program that has dependents with qt4mac, I suppose a kind of
graphical ui so, useless for us as vo-users I think?

I would like to know which dependenties a package has and how big is the
installation.
With the command, port test packagename, I can see the dependents but, since I
don't know the function of all kind of libs..., i don't know if the program
should be usefull or not.
In debian, with apt-get install, there was shown which packages should be
installed and for what size it should be.
Can I do here the same?

my questions:
1. can I see the size of all dependities for a program that I should install?
2. if I had installed a wrong program, can I remove the program also with the
newly installed dependities (to keep the system clean)?
3. are programs that works with qt4mac totally inaccessible , in global are
there gui programs for the terminal and are they accessible with vo?

Thanx a lot for your toughtst about this questions.

best regards,
William
