Well, before I heard about there being real sounding voices out there, my 
favorite voice for Eloquence was Rocko and for DecTalk it was Paul. Then I 
played around with the Neospeech voices, which I think should be one of the 
voices that comes here to Mac. Then after I heard that Tom was the voice that's 
used for the weather radio service, I used him. Then I heard voices like Alex 
and the AT&T voices taking breaths and I was fascinated about those voices. So 
anyway, my point is, I like any voice that sounds real. I did like Eloquence 
and DT at the time, but now I find them too robotic. Also, I keep the rate of 
Alex's speech at 36 because that's the rate that Alex uses for system messages 
and it keeps him sounding natural.
