Hi Stephanie! What kind of keyboard are you using? And can you use the command equivalents in the main menu [vo+m to file and then down to open message ] If that works then maybe it might be the keyboard! Those commands you listed are os commands and should work on any Mac! Even for sighted people! If you cannot open from the menu, then someone with more knowledge hopefully help! Qapla!Colin
