You are giving me ideas for upcoming podcasts.
To install an app:
1. Open the .dmg file with command-O. (Most apps come in dmg files, which are
basically virtual cds.) However, If the app comes with the extension .pkg,
that's just like the setup.exe file that you've seen a billion times in
Windows. Anyway,
2. Copy the name of the app, for example, skype.app, into your applications
folder. You can quickly get to the applications folder by typing command-shift-a
3. Press comand-v to paste the app. And there you have it.
4. Go to the desktop, and you will see somewhere the name of the virtual disk.
eject it with command-E.
As far as blogging software, I would recommend marsedit. You can google for it.
It's not very expensive at all, easy to use, and works great with VO.
And go ahead and install Skype. It has an interface similar to ITunes.
