Hi Sarai,

If you're asking how to set the margins in either TextEdit or Pages, then do
the following in Pages:

1. Open the Inspector, cmd-option-i or press the show Inspector in the Toolbar.
2. Select the Document tab.
3. Set the margins according to your wishes.

for TextEdit:

• I wouldn't go there. by default, Textedit has margins of 1 inch (2.54 cm)
all around and they are not readily changeable. There are methods whereby you
can mess with some template files and entering data within that file. This
process is not worth your effort if you already have Pages.
• I believe that I also heard somewhere that you could set the margins in
another word processor, save it then open it in TextEdit and they'll be set for
you. I haven't confirmed that one though.

HTH.
