A VM stands for a virtual machine which is what it sounds; a virtual
computer. Using virtual machines, you can run say windows on snow leopard;
that means that both operating systems are active at the same time. If
you're interested in doing something like that on snow leopard, look at
VMWare fusion; last I've had, parallels is inaccessible.

Jaws runs on the windows side. Voiceover is used to manage the vm.

When using the split operating system on a Macbook, do you load and then use
JAWS when you are on the Windows side? Or does Voice Over give the feedback
when using word documents, excel spreadsheets, etc.?

Thx
