Dear all,
What I am about to ask has been discussed before but after trying all solutions
I cannot seem to extract audio from avi files correctly. Heard a podcast from
Sarah alawami where she first converts the movie file to another with Handbrake
and then extracts the audio from that with Switch. But my movies are mostly 90
minutes long and would take a long time. so would like to have an extractor
which can do it straightaway.
My experiences so far:
DVDRemaster, Handbrake and Adapter don't extract audio from avi files at all.
MPEG Streamclip does open avi files but gives an error when trying to extract.
And the Mac version of Switch doesn't support avi files unfortunatley. It will
open them but extraction never succeeds.

Are there any programs out there which can extract audio from avi files? Or am
I doing something wrong with the above mentioned?

Many thanks,
Ronald
