I have no problems here either with my wordpress installs. While I can make any edits and changes right from safari, I prefer using a program called Mars Edit, which has tons of robust formatting features and can allow you to publish a page or post in seconds flat. It's really amazing. But as far as the admin panel, dashboard, etc, I have no problems here. Just make sure that your profile is set to the classic editor or whatever it's called. This will make the title and body edit boxes much more accessible in my opinion. Hope this helps.
