Hiya mate, Glad you found it useful. I've never before messed about with the settings, just been on a long list of "things to do, when there's nothing more interesting to do" LOL. I don't know about any central repository for information, I'd say the best way for people to assimilate (for want of a better word) new information, is just to sit back, and sponge on these lists, because there's some great folks on here, Rays last post proves that really. I mean, here I am, been using a Mac for everything for about 4 or 5 years now, and I'm still learning new stuff, like that voiceover command f10 thing that someone posted in (can't remember who). A "Newbie's guide to the mac", would be a fundamentally bad idea in my opinion, because the sheer bulk of information, is more likely to scare the living shit out of new users, rather than enlighten them, whereas, if they just sit back, and listen and learn, they're going to be drip-fed new info, which means they're more likely to take it in (little and often and all that), as well as not be overwealmed by all the new tech stuff.
