Dear Esther, I have no idea what I do wrong but the New TextEdit Window Containing Selection does not appear in the services menu. I've followed the instructions contained in your e-mail to the letter but to no avail. The maddening thing is that I had once succeeded to activate this service and assign it a shortcut key on another mac computer. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I was careful to type in the name with its related capitals. But even before assigning the shortcut, the selection of the service did not result in the service appearing under the service menu in Safari for instance.
