Hi Eric: I'm not familiar with a trade-in site. But, I'd be more inclined to talk with someone at your nearest Apple store if there's one available. I've found them pretty receptive to keeping their customers happy, and it might be a safer way to do what you want to do. Anyway, it's worth a try if you can get to one.
