Ok, I have seen the loss of Braille when the screen locks. That would be a good one to fix. But, you can fix that by setting the iTouch to never lock. That is possible. I have not seen the display disconnect when the screen locks only that you no longer get any Braille output until the unit is unlocked again.

When my ITouch goes to sleep it juncks the connection to my braille connect and I have to manually reconnect it. It's a known issue with IOS4 and some displays.

What, exactly, is broken about bluetooth braille? I have a BrailleNote
Apex and use it several times a week. Aside from the initial pairing
process, which I have only had to do a couple times, things could not
be easier. The one major problem I have is lack of computer braille
and/or a better translator, but if you type quickly it is really not a
problem. Of course there is always room for improvement, but I have
not yet found anything that needs fixing (aside from the translation
trouble).

HI, I've got a braille connect here. I've also got access to other devices on occasion, but I haven't tested any on my ITouch yet. Braille connect is
far and away my favourite of all the displays I teach.

the hello, I'm just curious you mention that they been deal with Bluetooth Trail, from what I understand it varies by display you support to an IOS when it comes to Bluetooth braille. So my question is what kind of braille display you have? Just curious. Cheers Maurice. Note this message has been dictated by using MacSpeech Dictate, some words, phrases and/or spelling
