People who call my Skype phone number have noticed a "clipping," or breaking up of my speech. When I call my cell phone and leave a voice on in the background, I can hear a rhythmic, about one-second cutting in and out of audio. My WIFI is behaving just fine in all other aspects.
I need to troubleshoot this; I am using a MBP15 with its internal mic. Is there a simple way to test the mic and listen to a sample of its recording? That way I can determine whether the problems is in my network, a Skype node or inside my Macbook.
