Your needs and mine are completely in sync.

Many, many, many people both sighted and non-sighted alike recommend hand break 
for ripping DVD content but, to be honest, it takes too much work to make it an 
efficent solution.

Like you, most of my DVD content is television episodes not movies.

Until now, I use a Windows 7 solution that is all but inaccessible with Jaws.

But for the fact that I can magnify the screen with ZoomText, I would simply be 
out of luck.

However, I am certain that there must be a Mac solution that is equal to my 
Windows solution.

Mind you that the Windows solution will allow you to rip each episode 
individually, one must name the files and add any meta data manually, in iTunes.

I will renew my efforts on this matter.
