Hi. I've done an unattended install of win xp pro 32 bit using bootcamp multiple times on multiple macs over the past few years with no trouble. Like you though, the driver cd burn button does nothing.
Use your Mac OS X disc instead once you've installed windows. There is a noted issue with bootcamp on the OS X 10.6.4 and up discs. It's best to install bootcamp off of an OS X 10.6.3 disc according to Apple. You can use a USB headset or USB speakers as an audio driver so you can run narrator until you get the drivers installed.
