I have the app. The first version had muffled audio, but they fixed that. Actually, when it comes to entering addresses and destinations, it's much easier than navigon or TomTom, because you don't have to enter the street and number on different screens. Actually, when you first open the app, you can just type in the address or place you want in the search box and it will usually work. One thing that some people don't like is that the program does not store its maps locally, it's erver based. In the description, it makes this very clear, so I don't know why people give it bad reviews for that. If that's not the kind of app you want, don't buy it, plain and simple. The main issue I have with the garmin app is that it does not provide spoken directions in walk mode, for blind users, that's important. Interestingly, I got an android phone a few weeks ago and have been playing with that, it has built in turn by turn directions for driving and walking, the directions are very good and it's totally free.
