Hi, To keep VoiceOver from reading out changes in font attributes in mail, go to VoiceOver Utility (VO-F8), and under the "Verbosity" utility category select the "Text" tab. Navigate past "When text attributes change:" and VO-Space on the pop up menu button to change it from "Speak Attributes" to "Do Nothing".
