Hi,
I checked it out briefly when it was in beta and guess what? It's not 
accessible. That is, you can set up accounts no problems, and you can manage 
preferences and so on, but the mailboxes as well as the messages table are just 
presented to VO as empty tables.
You could try the free one and see if improvements are made, but i doubt it. 
Furthermore, unless you're on the windows side or Firefox miraculously has been 
made accessible, you can't send a feedback message to the developers, because 
there's a bloody captcha that you have to fill in in order for the message to 
reach the developer.
Sorry for bringing you these bad news.
I would also love to try out Sparrow.
