P.S. (Sorry, should have included this in last post). But, is it possible I didn't input the loop properly? I didn't drag it, but instead copied it from the loop-browser and simply pasted it into the arrange- layout area. I had only one other track "visible" in the instrument- tracks scroll-area, so I couldn't interact with it. So I just pasted the loop into the arrange-layout area and hoped it would go in the right place. Should that have worked? I'm hearing it when I play back the piece, but, as I said, only for the first four bars, and nothing I do seems to get it to play any further. Interestingly enough, the track shows as being stretched, I'm just not hearing it in playback. So, could that be the problem?
Thanks again!
