Hello all, I am using the program filer on my iphone4 as file manager. This program has a ftp and http server built in so that I can easily transfer files/folders from my mac to my iphone.
I would like to mount my iphone with the ftp-protocol so that it becomes as new area in my finder window. I tried the following: command+k (from inside the finder) and then I type!d the ftp-address and corresponding port as described in the filer program. When I do this, a new ares appears in my finder but it seems to be read-only. After som search on the internet , I fund something about macfuse and the corresponding program macfusion. After installing this, it seems not to work. The time to try the connection is set to 60 seconds so, that should be enough, I think. After a while , I receive a timeout. I could also use a ft-program like syberduck but, this seems much more complicated to transfer files from my macbook to my iphone. So, I am looking after a (free) program to make a ftpmount with also write-options to connect to the ftp-server in filer on my iphone. Any hints for accessible programs to do this is very welcome. Thanx alot for your! help. Kind regards, William -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group.
