Actually, I know several people who found success with Eharmony, but I agree with Scott, in that you can find that special person anywhere. i know a couple who met at a bus stop, just like that Hollys song. I know a woman whose future husband pumped her gas one day in a service station. But screen reader users have told me that they needed sighted assistance at times navigating the site.

Heh I wasn't trying to be insensitive just trying to be real. Honestly, I think you'll have an easier time meeting someone locally with similar interests while interacting with them than behind a terminal. I'm glad it worked for you, but for everyone one of you there's hundreds who have horror stories. That's because contrary to popular beleaf the interactions online just aren't as based in reality. I think we as blind people (myself included) can fall in to a rut of staying behind the terminal to much. Meeting that special someone out and around like the grocery store, restaurant, dog track, what ever has advantages not the least of which is you get through that whole uneasiness with blindness thing right from the get go. That's my point that and Eharmony doesn't play nice on the net. No harshness intended. On Jan 22, 2011, at 1:05 PM, Jim Barbour wrote: > Wow!
