The NFB is in on this whole deal.  They deliberately work against built in 
accessibility so they can keep getting 7 figure payoffs from companies who shal 
remain nameless but have the initials FS.:) (among others)  When accessibility 
is built in they and other blind organizations don't get a cut from the vendors 
as hush money and also don't get a cut of the sales where applicable.

This is why cable boxes aren't accessible, why windows doesn't have a real 
built in screen reader and why groups like the NFB publish so many hit pieces 
on Apple.
